A.  CAN YOU REMEMBER IF REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE LEAGUE OF RED CROSS SOCIETIES EVER VISITED THE PRISON CAMP(S) WHERE YOU WERE INCARCERATED?  Yes.  They [Japanese] fixed everything up pretty nice when they were coming.
B.  IF YES, DID YOU, OR ANY OF YOUR FELLOW PRISONERS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET WITH THESE REPRESENTATIVES?  We also had a visitor from Italy, after Italy quit.  I saw him and spoke to him.
C.  IF YES, WERE THESE MEETINGS HELD IN PRIVATE?  No - the Japanese were there.
D.  DID YOUR FAMILY WRITE TO YOU VIA THE RED CROSS DURING YOUR INCARCERATION?  Yes.
E.  IF YES, DID YOU RECEIVE THEIR COMMUNICATIONS?  No.  I wrote two or three letters to them but they never got them either.
