American born Matt Frewer was raised in Victoria, BC. His significant SF movie roles have been in Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. He also played "Trashcan Man" in the TV miniseries, Stephen Kings, The Stand. Matt is probably best known for his TV role as the verbally challenged Max Headroom and his human counterpart Edison Carter. He has also had guest appearances in the  Star Trek TNG  episode A Matter of Time and The Outer Limits episode First Anniversary. Matt also starred in the Canadian SF TV series, Psi Factor.
