Unfortunately, falling to the ass of the Blob isn't the only reason for Cain Marko to wish he was dead these days. Considering he falls to pretty much everything else lately he's probably used to it by now. Which partly brings us to the message of this page. Due to the usually pathetic mischaracterizations Marvel has seen fit to permanently subject him to, the Unstoppable Juggernaut Homepage will soon be closing down. What currently passes for the Juggernaut these days is for all significant purposes a different character. One which bears little to no relation to the one this site is devoted to. Out of pure reflex I followed this new character bearing the name of my favorite for a good while now. But I've found that despite my best efforts I can't read the adventures of this new "Juggernaut" and keep my food down at the same time. While his portrayal has improved since leaving the X-Men, it's only gone from godawful to just awful. And with no end in sight. At this point I no longer purchase or even browse anything with him in it. The rampant disregard of the Juggernaut's prior history and the savage removal of his genitals is far too much for a former fan to watch.
This new character is unrecognizeable as the Juggernaut. In terms of continuity he is virtually unconnected. Powerwise he isn't even on the same planet as the Juggernaut. And personality? Wow...
Since I cannot stomach the female version of Cain Marko and this is what seems to have replaced the Juggernaut for the foreseeable future, it would be nearly impossible to ever update the site. I can't add any recent material, and what interest I still have left in the character dies a little more every time he gumps around as comic relief. But I don't want this site to float in cyberspace stagnating which is one of the reasons I've decided to just remove it instead. Barring some miraculous improvement in the Juggernaut's fate, I think it's the best way to go.
