This flag wants to symbolize this people, united by Pyrenees. It was designed from a catalan nationalist flag itself inspired by the cuban one. The cross of Languedoc symbolizes the occitan area in Pyrenees. The blood and gold strips symbolize the arago-catalan area. Of course, Ikurriña symbolizes the basque area.
