The Seven Habits

The Seven Habits of Highly Effective AutoLISPers

Never document their code. No ; ; ; Nothing ...

Hardly ever care for Paren Balancing. (())((())()(()
For them, LISP = Lots of Irritating Stupid Parentheses.

Unaware of variable names that are more than 3 chars long. Afterall you rarely exhaust a01, a02, a03......a99, b01, b02, b03..........zzz in a single routine.

Some radical ones insist on more meaningful variable naming conventions. This stock prefers variable names such as
Upper_Right_Corner_Of_Pink_Rectangular_Connector_Box, etc.

Believe Errors are a fact of life, in everything that exists. So simply ignore them.

Never fail to dump all functions in a single file. Hate general utility functions being placed isolated from the main file.

Stick to AutoLISP for customization. Scarcely believe in VisualLISP, VBA or anything else.
