Bulldog 50K Results

 

Dear Runners,

The weather was perfect and the spirits were high as we took off for our 10th annual Bulldog 50K UltraRun. Jorge Pacheco set a new course record of 3:54:56 followed in hot pursuit by Peter Park in 3:59:16. First female was Maria Gallardo, who set a great pace of 5:09:35.

Link Lindquist, 73, our oldest runner, finished in 6:12:13 and improved his 1999 time by 23 minutes. What's your secret, Link? You are our inspiration! Yukie Mochida, 71, is also a shining example for all. She finished in 8:09:00, looking just great as she came across the finish line.

We enjoyed having you all as part of our Bulldog Family and hope to see you next year on September 7, 2001 (always the weekend after Labor Day).
