"Fill"

Can you see?
See the fly ball my nephew caught when he went to the game with my dad?

Can you hear?
Hear the soft rustle of the leaves along the car port on a cool fall day?

Walk with me.
Lets walk beside the stream until the sun goes down and there is salt on our lips and sweat on our brow.

Swing with me.
Swing with me until the afternoon sun sets in the horizon of cotton candy-like clouds, all of our lemonade is gone, and grandma makes us come in.

Feel.
Do you feel the breeze on your sunburnt back, the warm sand between your toes and the ache in your muscles from playing hard all day?

Fill.
Fill my heart with the love of a friend, loyal and true.
Fill it with the purity of youth and the warmth of empathy.
