We
have been raising Nubian dairy goats since 1978. Surrounded by the
country
charms of rural Maryland, our farm is dedicated to the
promotion and improvement of the breed.
Our herd is CAE negative and abscess free, being tested
negative for CAE since the early eighties. In 2005 we also tested for
Johnnes and were negative.
Although we strive to improve our milk production, we
feel our current production
is adequate for our needs.
We try to have appraisal done on a yearly basis.
Our average appraisal
score for 2005 was 86. We are planning to appraise this year.
We take orders, but require a $50.00 deposit for Nubian kids, balance due at time of birth. Occasionally have a few milkers and wethers for sale. We do ship from BWI Maryland. Buyer pays health paper and other fees.
