Lafayette/West Lafayette Siren Photos
This Federal Signal Corp. Thunderbeam is located in Lafayette, IN, northwest
of the intersection of US 52 and McCarty Lane. I would have gotten a closer photo
but the Wabash Trailer Plant, where the Thunderbeam is located, just ended work
and my dad didn't want to get stuck in traffic with all the workers leaving. I saw many
other sirens, such Federal 2001's and Federal Modulators but was unable to get
any photos.
This Federal Signal Corp. 3t22 is located in West Lafayette (or better know as
Purdue University) on Earhart Hall. I couldn't get a closer photo of the siren because it
was up on top of the building. Purdue University has one other 3t22 that I know of that is up
on top of an even taller building which I was not able to get a photo of.
