Here are some pics of
An antique steam engine
I aquired this interesting engine at an estate auction of one of Thomas Edison's assistants. Even though it appears to be in rough shape, it does run rather well on compressed air.
I looked everywhere on the outsides of this wonderful engine and found no markings whatsoever. If anyone has any information, comments or ideas about this old engine, please e-mail me or sign my guest book to let me know so I can update my text. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated!
I recently brought this  engine (along with the rest of my limited collection) to 'The Blue Mountain Steam and Gas Tractor Association' swap meet. Wow what a show!!!!!     Many were interested in this item but I told them I had just gotten it  and want to keep it for a while.
At the Blue Mountain Swap Meet in Eastern Pa. I was told by a few collectors  that I did the right thing by only cleaning off the dust & grime and lubricating all the moving parts. So until I find information to the contrary this is how this old steam engine will remain. Again if anyone has info or comments please contact me .
I believe it is possible that this engine was used to drive a dynamo to produce electricity for experiments!
Special thanks to Robin Corsiglia for his prompt reply to my e-mail questions and offering the adjacent pics from his resourses.  Click on his name to view an amazing collection of steam engines!
