Over the past few months we have sought to refocus the Arena development in an exciting and cost effective way which will deliver to Coventry City Football Club and the City of Coventry a true landmark sport/leisure and business complex.

Arena 2001 is a complex and very expensive project - it is unique in Britain and we need to get it right before we can safely start on the building work.

A substantial amount of work has been undertaken on the design and we have commenced the tendering process required to conform with European legislation in the anticipation of the building being completed by mid 2004.

We are currently finalising various aspects of the project and we will release more details in the near future.
