| I am a Captain. I am responsible for the actions of those placed on my roster. It is my duty to assure that no team is intentionally avoided. It is my duty to assure that my team does not manipulate the ladder. It is my duty to assure that my team does not break the rules as currently posted. It is my duty to be civil and mature in handling of all disputes involving my team. It is NOT my duty to search out loopholes in the rules that can give my team an unfair advantage. It is NOT my duty to cause as much conflict with as many teams as I possibly can. It is NOT my duty to circumvent the items that this ladder is based on...Fun, Friendliness, and Fairness. Only a Team Captain may add or delete players from their roster. It is a Captain's OBLIGATION to be certain every player has read AND understands the rules of this ladder. The actions of ONE player can affect an entire team. A one-word accusation in table chat, is enough to get that team a warning by the Administration. Repeated violations can result in a team or individual being rung (dropping a team a number of rungs in rank), boxed (an individual or team being unable to play or report losses or wins for several days), or banned from this ladder. Team Captains are encouraged to hold regular team meetings to discuss strategy or just to get together. They should be sure that their roster participates in our Voting Booth. They should also direct them to the Main Page and point out the information that is available there. Also, direct them to the Message Forum to catch them up on everything that is going on ladder-wide. Encourage their participation in helping us keep this a fun and friendly ladder. There it is the pressure of the captain !! YOU ARE ALL IMPORTANT! We as a team are here to play spades. we have a 10 game a week requirement ! We as a team will win some, and we will lose some. In an effort to keep our team on track, I would like to share with all, that we need to keep our games on a friendly yet not personal atmosphere, yet do what we are here to do , play spades. (And I don't mean that you can't make friends , just don't let the personal things interfere )Below are some guidelines: 1.) Please try to remain friendly at tables, to our opps as well as your own teamies. (this includes, but not limited to , table talk, zms, instant messenger, and e-mails. 2.) When using e-mails with your teamies addys on it, please keep the e-mails to team only responses, not personal. If there is a need to send out personal e-mails, please send so in private. 3.) Try to play with as many teamies as you can so that no teamies are left out of play. There is also Pardless campers you can sign up for if there are not teamies to play with at times that you are available for a game. 4.) If you have ANYTHING at all that you need to talk about, please DO NOT hesitate to e-mail me, or zm me, or if I am not in a game, call me to a table to chat. I will always listen to anything you feel you need me to.4.) We can meet a lot of nice people here and this is a great place to do that, as well as, enjoy a great , competitive game. *keeping in mind, we will win some and lose some *5.) When in a game, out of respect for all, please do not chat on the main or in zm unless its a quick hi or bye, then return to your game. 6.) Do not use the main for things that need to be said in private, if you have a issue with a teamie or the team as a whole, it not only looks bad for the team, but says a lot worse about yourself, so don't use the main for that. If we all try to work together as a team, to apply these simple things, we will continue to have a GREAT TEAM to be a part of. Thank you for your understanding and abiding to these simple rules ..and should you need a brb on a nil please make it as quick as possible and the remaining p chat as much as you can that leaves no room to wonder if your talking to your p in zm ,,, the very reason brb on nil is irritating to most all ...except those who cheat !! If you think my rules are hard try being an egg but only if you think they are hard How would you like to be an egg? You only get laid once. You only get eaten once. It takes four minutes to get hard. Only two minutes to get soft. You share your box with 6 other guys But worst of all.. the only chick that ever sat on your face was your mother!!! So cheer up, Your life ain't that bad!!!! Pass it around to someone who you feel can use a good lay, Oops....I mean day!!!!! And as far as the e-mails we all have received, peoples personal things in their life are just that. Lets keep that personal. I will not remark on that anymore. Nor will I condone people being trashed in anyway. |
