Steve's Mysterious Swing Bike

(Another note from Jamma): Hi Bob, Hows things? I've attached a pic of Steve's Swing Bike for you. It doesn't have a serial number or patent on it, but it has JUNE 4 1970 stamped in the same spot (?). It was originally yellow but at some point someone attacked it with a can of black paint. It even has the original Swing Bike bell on it! He will eventually restore it to original. I will get him to send me some more detailed pics of bell, stamping, etc. Talk soon ... jamma ...

(Another note from Jamma, 9/10/2004): Hi Bob, Thanks for updating the page mate much appreciated. Yeah, I reckon yours would look real nice red 'n black like one of the old 60s hotrods. (Note: Jamma is referring to your webmaster's new project) Steve got his swingbike!!! It was completely stripped into separate pieces for shipping and wrapped up which was good. I've attached the pic of it as it was out of the box in pieces. When this one's restored it will be awesome. I rode my new one yesterday and it goes ok, I didnt think it would go as well with the seat way back (because of the snapped seatpost) but it is actually better, I can swing it further than my restored one. Talk soon ... jamma ...

Webmaster's Note: Thanks Jamma for the pic and the story of Steve's unusual Australian Swing Bike and the new project! Check in often as Jamma keeps the updates coming!
