Thank you for the email as it turns out this is the same bike that my son paid for and won on ebay and the seller took the money and disappeared I have contacted him as myself not using any name that could let him think I might be on to him in the hope I can maybe get what is rightfully my sons again thank you very much for your email will let you know what happens

Hi bob just to let you know he got back to me with a phone number to call I did a trace on the number and it come up to the original sellers name and now I also have his address have been in contact with the local sheriff they will get back to me monday thank you very much wishing you good health and fortune LEAH

Bad news he sold the bike on sunday and now the police dont have any proof that he even had the bike but he can still be charged if they can prove he is using false names and can not give a name of who he sold it to leah

P.S do you know of any swing bikes for sale that are real

Would you really part with your project I would get it ship shape in no time I'm a very patient but determined person . I think I could do this for his birthday with out his knowledge which would make it a bigger surprise.

Thanks for that I have been looking through his spares boxes and have picked out some wheels, goose neck, a blue seat ,handle bars . I would only need to get a sissy bar, guards ,and new chain wheel. He looked at the photo's and was excited and thought of doing it green but I was thinking something completely unique so that its one of a kind Enjoy your holiday and keep safe LEAH

Great News I received an email about half an hour ago Mr David hector P**** has been caught and the Osceola Police have Dales bike .I just called him at work and he nearly cried now for me to go to work what a great day.

Hey Bob I was going through old emails and noticed that one of the was 1297kb

I thought to myself thats big for a normal message so I reread it and it had an attachment it was sent early last week , when I opened it it had a photo of the bike parked at the back of his blue SAAB the same car it was pictured with on ebay but the number plate was smack bang in the middle of the photo .I emailed this to the detective asking if this was enough proof that David and Hector were the same person,I did not hear from him for a few days then got the email this morning saying the David Hector P**** was being co-operative with police and that he will ship the bike to me or give me a refund. I'm just waiting to hear back from the detective on how to pay for the bike as paypal had retrieved part of a refund and to get the bike we need to give him the money that was due for the ebay sale but with the way things have gone I need to know who to pay and to make sure it is posted to us and that he does not take off with money again.

I don't have much faith in him and I need to know that he is being truthful and not scamming the detective.

Will keep you posted and thank you very much for offering your bike if you do wish to sell it at a later date please think of me first as I do have the resource to transform it almost to original

About the bike the police have spoken to him and the bike should be at FEDEX today just waiting for the police to meet him there to make sure it is packed properly and addressed to the correct address just holding my breath waiting for the shipping number.

Now your bike have you thought of just cutting the crank arm below the pedal as the cranks do not look reusable and with the stem is there a hole in the underside of the fork that you could put a pipe in to hit from the opposite end.

Any way good luck hope you are enjoying your warm weather as it freezing cold over here and we have ice on the cars each morning and at 6 in the morning its hard on your hand trying to scrap it off.

Hi bob how are you going with those stubborn parts are the out or are your knuckles out ,the last time I cut off a pair of crank I did not check for rough edges an had a deep cut an inch long right through my knuckle that could not be stitched. good luck LEAH

Hi Bob sorry for not getting back to you earlier but we have just returned home from our holiday in the sun .Wish I did not come back as I returned home to a parcel from the US with only the rear section of the bike ,no cranks no frame no forks no bars no seat post no seat no sissy bar. I am calling the police at 8 am for them to go to his house and find out where the rest of the bike is.

Thank you for all the work your have done on your bike .I think we will go with the express mail but I will need to go and put more money on the credit card tomorrow as we used it on our holiday and Im not sure of the balance but I will get back to you tomorrow after I do my banking

hi bob

we need a little help with spec's of the bike please

what rise are the bars and what length are the cranks, the ones we fitted to have a ride were to long as they are of an old bmx and the bars have a big backward bend.

The bike is off to be acid stripped and powder coated next week

we have new wheels all new bearings,cups and bottom bracket

should be ready in under a fortnight.

The guy at the bike shop was a bit shocked when he seen the forks he said do you want them fixed or are you donating them to scrap then he laughed he said any thing made of metal can be welded or realigned just remember Rome was not built in a day.

Dale has already mastered kerb riding as the local school has a huge car park that is empty all weekend even his little sister is hooked they fight over the blue one from the nutcase, that will get done when this one is finished and all the local kids think it is cool asking where to buy them and dale has had offers on it as well but he would never sell it.

Hi bob haven't been in touch for a while its been crazy here getting the bike ready for his birthday today and he was thrilled. I could not post pics along the way as he believed it was not going to be fixable, I kept stalling him saying the forks are not ready or the sandblaster has not finished then I told him the powder coating would take longer as the color had to be ordered, he was getting very annoyed so I just kept changing the subject, but it is all put back together minus some stickers and guards but they are coming soon.

I am sending you the photo's of it at each stage.
