Montgomery 168 Masonic Lodge

Montgomery is a township located about 45 miles north of Alexandria, Louisiana. At one time, the steam boats would stop to pick up a cargo of corn, cotton, or lumber to transport to areas such as New Orleans, Shreveport, and even to St. Louis. From those destinations, the products would go to areas around the world. Timber is still the largest industry from the area, while cotton and feed corn are right behind. The Mills have since moved from Montgomery, but the hard work is still seen throughout the area.

The Masonic Lodge is located Across from the U S POST OFFICE and is behind the  MONTGOMERY BANK.

The 2004 Officers are Worshipful Master Brent Jackson, Senior Warden Kevin Barnes, Junior Warden Mike Morbut, Secretary Elvin Garner.

Montgomery Lodge was chartered in 1861.

Montgomery Lodge meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at 7:30 PM.
