It has been said that the web is a triumph of form over content. The
Internet equivalent of television. The medium designed for people with
five second attention spans. Well, anything that can hold my
attention only for five seconds, I don't want to see in the first place. My
browser is w3m/lynx; I only start Netscape when I have to. I don't have a
burning desire to click on everything I see. And so, these are my web
pages.
An attempt to create a triumph of content over form, if you will.
Graphics are sparse. Text is common. Links are present only when they
add something to the content. All images have ALT tags. The pages are
designed for whatever browser you care to use (if something looks odd in
your browser, please feel free to let me know and I'll see if I can fix
it). And somewhere herein, I hope, is something that will capture your
attention for more than five seconds.
Update: I have abandoned this website and will not be adding any updates.
When there are things to add, they happen too fast, or else there's little to
add anyway. You're free to look anyway.
Welcome.
