Swainson's Olive-backed/Tawny Thrush

Latin: Catharus ustulatus / French: Grive à dos olive  

On breeding territory at Slide Mountain, Catskill Preserve, Ulster County, New York, 6/23/04 elevation 3,500' with another Swainson's and Yellow-rumped Warbler in the background.  Black-throated Green Warbler also sang in this area. During migration at Cheesequake State Park, Monmouth County, NJ (ascending spiral), 5/9/04 (31kb).  This bird was far away and over the otherside of a hill.
