elcome to my cyber
den! I live and write in Newton, Massachusetts. Right now, I'm working
on a legal thriller. I set up this Web site to communicate with fellow
readers and writers on the Net.
Now some
good news! I took a break from those two file-drawers full of research
and 120,000 words a legal thriller entails and wrote a screenplay.
Yes, wrote it up as a screenplay first! It's also called Squeezing Belle. Squeezing?
In the legal sense, of course, as in squeezing a witness. But
in other ways too! Mmmm. Men like that! Any literary agents out there
looking for that next fun thriller screenplay, e-mail
me!
Read and
comment on the prologue to Squeezing Belle, an irreverent
legal thriller in which Belle
butts heads with the local District Attorney over the murder of a neighbor
and becomes the target for both the good guys and the bad guys.

A Different Opinion

For
unusual political commentary, join the conversation at Mrs.
G's table, where the food is 5-star and the opinions give new
meaning to the words "a different take"! |
|
"Hey, I
understand perfectly," Belle said. "A little mangled syntax here, a Malapropism there! Throw in a bad-boy
grin why, soon we're talking real leadership material." |

More analysis with attitude from Mrs. G's table: |
|
"With my plan, everyone who pays taxes gets a tax cut," the
politician intoned plaintively from the television screen. |
|
"We've got a reverse Robin Hood on
our hands," Belle declared. She speared a chunky piece of lobster tail
with her fork and held it up for emphasis... |
|
"How can one throw one's weight
around if one doesn't have any?" Belle asked. |
