Welcome to Sam's Place!
This webpage has been created because of the
interest in the lion cut of owners of long-haired cats.
The first section of pictures shows my
persian, Sam, in his winter coat. The second
section shows Sam after his lion cut.
The lion cut helps keep a long haired cat
cleaner and is a useful procedure for cats whose
fur is so matted and tangled that it can't be combed out.
The procedure might be too stressful for some cats.
I'm fortunate that it doesn't bother Sam too much.
I love the way my other animals do
a double take when they first see Sam after his cut.
