The Greek University own a special status than as I know no other university own in the world. The Greek University, regard to the Greek law as private individual.
Private individual probably mean nothing for you? For me that mean everything!
It was possible to hope to go there and to ask them to help me to finish my study! Why not! I decide to done so, knowing than could not be easy at all, I would have to probably chain myself in some building.
As a difference with Canada is than in Greece the police can’t act in the University land as faster than everywhere else. To act on the University land the Police need to be invited after some debate (just use the world asylum and Greek University to do a search on the net).
I chain myself at Crete University in Rethymno and then I have been arrested but out of the University. That was clearly illegal!
Some day after I went to a Canadian representation to ask for financial help to flight back to Canada, I told to the Consul about what happen and I did not ask a little question about that.
