Day 36, July 22, was a rest day we spent on the carferry across Lake Michigan. It was a 4 hr boat ride where we lost an hour entering Ludington, Michigan and the eastern time zone. But it was a nice boat (above). It was just a little tough making that transition from my biking legs to my sea legs, but after that it was a nice ride. Once in Michigan (below) we sat down to a nice seafood meal at a popular bar. Tomorrow we get back to that bicycling thing.
