Green Pepperone Stuffed with Tuna

  • Ingredients


    4 large green peppers
    100g. chopped onions
    1 large tin tuna
    1 tsp. dried mint
    olive oil
    150g rice
    25g tomato paste
    salt and pepper
    some water


    Method


    Cut the top of each pepper and remove the seeds
    wash and boil the rice, fry the onion till golden brown, add tuna mint, and tomatoe paste
    season add water simmer for 5 to 8 minutes
    drain the rice and mix well with the tuna sauce
    stuff the peppers bake in a well greased dish for 35- 45 minutes


  • Serve hot or cold
