week... so, my attempt is below.
Any corrections/comments/suggestions would be very welcome! It's also
not too late to send in your submission this week -- I can still add
your answers to this collation.
Next up: Exercise Seven, English-to-Hebrew (pp. 54-55), due Wednesday,
July 17, before 5 PM US Eastern time. You can write your answers out by

14 BB G-d heard my voice, because he is my light on the day of darkness.
15 shama ya'akov et hacholom v'gam shamar et hadavar, ki amar min
ha-elokim hacholom.
15 BB Ya'akov heard the dream and moreover he kept the word, because the
dream spoke from G-d.
16 uvachalomo ra-ah ya'akov v'hinay har gadol m'od v'rosho bashamayim
16 BB And in his dream Ya'akov saw and behold a very great mountain and
its top was in the heavens.
17 uvchol hachmay hair lo hayah ish asher yada et d'var ha-elokim
17 BB And among all the wise men of the city ther was not a man who knew
the word of G-d.
18 Hivdil Hashem bayn n'viay miztrayim u-vayn moshe n'vi-o.
18 Hashem distinguished between the prophets of Egypt and between Moshe
His prophet.
19 Yashvu hanvi-im b'achad haray ha-aretz uvrosham haya sh'muel.
19 BB The prophets dwelt in one of the mountains of the land and their
head was Sh'muel.
20 hinay yado bakol, v'yad kol adam bo.
20 BB Behold his hand is on all things, and the hand of man is in his

21 karat avraham b'rit im melech ha-ir
21 BB Avraham made a covenant with the king of the city.
22 mayhaychalo asher bashamayim raah Hashem et amo v'et kolaynu shama.
22 BB From his palace which is in heaven Hashem saw his people and he
heard our voice.
