Hi everyone:

Here's the collation for Exercise Two (Hebrew-to-English). The
exercises are still pretty easy, but there's lots of good stuff in the
text up to this point. Anyone have any questions or comments about any
of it? Please don't hesitate to post them directly to the list
(selfstudyhebrew@yahoogroups.com).

NEXT UP: *OPTIONAL* ENGLISH-TO-HEBREW ASSIGNMENT

Next up is the *optional* English-to-Hebrew for Exercise Two (p. 31),
due Thursday May 9, before 5PM EST. Please write out your answers by
hand (or with Hebrew Word Processing Software which has vowels). Then
scan your answers (or take a screen-shot if you use word processing) and
send it to me at berelbeyer@yahoo.com as a gif, jpeg, or pdf file *only*
(please _ do not _ send it in the body of an e-mail like you would with
the regular assignments). You can also fax or send your answers by
regular postal mail (please e-mail me for the fax number or postal
address). I will then scan everyone's answers and send them back in a
single PDF file (you'll need Adobe Arcobat to view it).

If you need help writing Hebrew you might want to visit the following
site: http://www.levsoftware.com/alefbet.htm. It has an animated guide
for both script and print.

NEXT REGULAR ASSIGNMENT

The next regular assignment is Exercise Three, Hebrew-to-English, pp. 34
, due Thursday May 16, before 5PM EST. Please note that the
Hebrew-to-English Exercises are still being done simply by putting your
English answers in the body of an e-mail. These will continue to be
every other week (with the optional English-to-Hebrew on the off
weeks). Everyone is more than welcome to submit only the
*Hebrew-to-English* exercises on alternating weeks and not bother with
the scanning, etc. mentioned above.

Please let me know if this is confusing! I'll see if I can make it more
clear.

Have a terrific Shabbos, all.

Berel
