Artimal

You enter the stables warily, glancing about for the runner that Tarilan owns.  After a bit of searching up and down the aisles, you find a runner with a plank nailed to its door, on which is engraved the name "Artimal."  The horse is huge, and must be around seventeen hands tall.  You smile softly at the horse, who rears and backs away.  "Like rider, like runner," You mutter to yourself, and look up to see a Tarilan with tear-steaked cheeks walking towards you.
"I figured that Artimal would freak out if you came near him, he likes to do that.  I got him after my Searching, when my father went and purchased him from Dannia Stables.  He's wild, true, but he'll run like the wind, and let me ride him."
To your surprise, she enters the horse's stall eagerly, holding out a piece of bread in her left hand.  The horse takes it dantily, his lips barely brushing her hand, as the blue flit Caaylin lands on Artimal's back.  "Can...  Can I pet him?" You ask uncertianly.
"Sure," Tarilan replies lazily, leaning back on the stable wall and patting the runner once again.  "Come in."
You step into the stall nervously, not sure whether you made the right choice.  "Uh, maybe I shouldn't of done this..."
"Whatever you do, don't get scared, because horses can sense fear," The Candidate tells you, and you reach out to stroak the glistening runner.  You don't know much about horses, but this one sure looks a beauty.
"Has he won any races yet?" You inquire, trying to make talk.
"No, I haven't gotten Artimal entered in any yet, actually," Tarilan admits.  "I'd like to, but it costs money, and if I do win, then I could win it back...  But I might not win, even if Artimal is one of the fastest horses in the stables."
You smile at her adoration of the stallion.  "How old is he?"
"Two Turns, and no where near his peak, I'm sure."  Tarilan smiles surely at this last point.  Suddenly, she realizes that she's actually been talking to you, and glares at you.  "I have to get back to work, I only came down here to visit Artimal, and now you've gotten rid of some of my time."
She stalks back down the row of stables, leaving you to
head back.
