| Sival's Stats Age: 17 Turns Sival was born, unknown to him or his father, to a brownrider and his mother, but raised as though he was a full sibling. His mother never revealed the fact, and was lucky whenever no trace of the brownrider's physical features showed up on Sival as he grew. Well, other than the height. The fact that he might possibly be half weyr-bred was shown whenever a green dragon, Mayeth, spoke to him whenever he was 5 Turns old. He was not a hear-all-dragons, as he would of wished, but Mayeth did seem to like him. Twelve Turns later after a normal childhood life, Mayeth returned with her rider, Amaykala, on Search for Mayeth's clutch. Two other girls, Shenandoa and Ckyta, came with her, and while Sival was busy falling head over heals for Shenandoa, Ckyta had a crush on him, despite the fact that she was three Turns younger. He's standing for Mayeth's clutch, with a hope that he might Impress, although he expects to only Impress a sapphire. Sival might be thought of as "defender of the small." He will fly off the handle at anyone who attacks a younger Candidate or Weyrbrat for their rank, age, or looks. That's not to say, though, that he doesn't value looks. In fact, the only reason that he likes Shenandoa is because she is truly drop-dead gorgeous, but entirely without a caring heart. Sival realizes that, but still can't get over her. He's been known to yell at Shenandoa for tormenting Ckyta, but will soon go and apologize to her. He denies the fact that he still has a crush on the beautiful harper, but is trying desperately to get over it. A tall frame boosts Sival to around 6' 2", and he towers over most adults, much to his disgrace. Not clumsy like some tall people are, but tends to hang back in the crowds whenever possible, hating for the spotlight to be on him. His height helps him in scaring people whenever they torment younger weyrbrats and Candidates, so he uses that to his full atvantage. Although he might look ferocious and angry sometimes, Sival would never hurt anyone. His hair is a dark-brown color, and looks black when it's wet. He keeps it cut short, and it's straight. Blue eyes constrast sharply with his dark hair, and Sival has been described as having "shifty" eyes. He's a light sleeper, and a few adults have said it must be because he has a guilty concience, and is expecting someone to find out what horrible thing he did. Very handsome, but doesn't realize it and hates to be called so. Can't understand why girls think that he is. In truth, Sival has never done anything horrible, unless you count the occasional sarcastic comment or anger at someone who's being mean to someone else. He is very polite to anyone, especially his elders, and hates it whenever a girl comes up to him and flirts incessantly, as he doesn't know what to say whenever they do. A big goof whenever it comes to the opposite sex, and is partially afraid of the mating flights around Ocean Side Island. He's afraid that if he does Impress, his dragon might fly a green with a male rider, or perhaps someone's dragon that he really and truly hates, like Shenandoa. See S'vil and Ziameth!
