Sival

They are all a bunch of over-eager boys that want to be Searched so that they can Impress the pretty Apprentice harper, Mayeth snorted to Amaykala as they inspected some of the children at the Harper Hall.  One of them is thinking her name very loudly...  Shenandoa.  A pretty girl, but with no brain or heart.

There's no good ones then, Mayeth? Amaykala asked.  Mayeth, normally tough in her Searches but still Searching several Candidates, was being extremely picky, since it was her own clutch that she was Searching for.  What about for Wiayth's clutch?  We still need four Candidates for that one.

Get that girl over there for Wiayth's clutch, and the one over there for golden Ambranth's clutch,
Mayeth said, and Amaykala sighed.  Finally, her green was being a bit easier on Searching.  Shenandoa and Ckyta.  I know that Ambranth hasn't clutched yet, but I think that Ckyta would make a good Candidate whenever they are clutched.  And Shenandoa will amost me a test to our male Candidates.  That boy over there might be good enough for my eggs...  The large green paused.  No, I take it back.  He's not.

Amaykala groaned inwardly, but decided to go ahead and take the two girls that Mayeth had said.  "Shenandoa and Ckyta, you should prepare your bags and get ready to go to Ocean Side Island," She said loudly enough for everyone to hear it.  The two girl's faces lit up, and they scampered off to get their belongings.
Are you sure about that Ckyta girl?  She doesn't look like prime Candidate material.

The green snorted again.  You didn't think that Lecirnor would Impress either, and look at her.  Walked away with the purple.  You should really learn how to judge the Candidates will do, Amaykala.

Amaykala chuckled.  "You're just jealous because I made you bring Haistal and Reivalia, and both of them got golds," She said.  "And that you didn't like M'ler, but he ended up with a bronze.  I've bested you, Mayeth, admit it."

The green said nothing, and Ckyta arrived soon afterwards, followed by Shenandoa.  "Girls, we have one last stop that we have to go make, at a cothold.  Shenandoa, you will be standing at green Wiayth's clutch, and Ckyta, you will be standing for the golden Ambranth's clutch.  Are those acceptable to you?"

Ckyta's eyes lit up, but Shenandoa scoffed.  "I am to stand at a green's clutch, the daughter of the MasterHealer?  While the drudge over there stands for a golden egg?  That's ridiculous!  Her mother and father aren't even married!"

Ckyta then lowered her eyes, and Amaykala glared at Shenandoa, suddenly knowing why Ckyta had a slightly defated look to her.  "Girl, Mayeth makes the descisions, not me.  And she's usually right.  You'll be lucky if a green chooses you.  I'm about to shove you off of Mayeth right now and disgrace you in front of the entire Harper Hall.  Do you want that, girl?  Do you?"

Shenandoa glared back, but lowered her head when Amaykala glared more.  "Okay, I'm glad that's settled," She said in a dangerous voice.  "We're making one last stop, and hopefuly picking up a male for Mayeth's clutch.  Then we'll go to Ocean Side."
