| 2856.03.20 (March 17) Today has to be the most wonderful day of my life! The hatching happened, and I am now the rider of the blue Azuth! Inresh Impressed the blue Ceruth, and I think that it's wonderful that we both Impressed the same color; he, as I expected, lightened up quite a bit. Well, as I said, since I Impressed a dragon, I had to decide on an honorary. After thinking about it, both Azuth and I decided on Sh'cril. It's easier to pronounce than some other dragonrider's names, and I hope that I like it after flying in a wing! 2858.07.13 I think that more strange things have happened today than I ever thought possible. Well, it's mainly one strange thing. Azuth never really showed much interest in rising greens until Sorkith, and today she rose! Surprisingly enough, Azuth was able to tell what the green was going to do and drop back when she made a wingtip turn. So now Azuth is going to be a father. Sorkith's lifemate is Amathyst, a very beautiful and kind redhead. It's rather strange, Azuth was always encouraging me to weyrmate, and now he's forced it upon me. I'm not angry about it, though. Quite the opposite! Well, I must go and oil Azuth, he's complaining about an itch. 2858.07.28 Today Sorkith clutched on Dark Moon Weyr's sands! There were eight eggs, a very large number. There have been six and seven eggs coming from green/blue crossing, but never eight at Dark Moon. I'm proud of Azuth, and have truly come to like Amathyst. My green Talmar rose and was caught by her blue "Zee", so whenever Talmar clutches, I'm planning on saving Amathyst an egg as a gift. Dragonriders aren't exactly well paid... I'm hoping that she'll like it, because it's pretty much the best that I can do. Atleast if she doesn't like it, it'll be heartfelt. 2858.08.01 Talmar did clutch, with only seven eggs. But Azuth said I should save the smallest one for Amathyst, and I'm privately hoping that it's a white... One of Amathyst's relatives was the first Candidate Searched for Sorkith's clutch.
