Nyalor is the daughter of the greenrider Cerlayn and the bluerider D?kor, both wingriders at Tarizal Weyr. She has three siblings, all elder. Y'tero is a greenrider at Tarizal Weyr, while Darayn is a Candidate at Ocean Side Weyr for the green Wiayth's clutch. Raec is the only one of her siblings who is not a Candidate or Dragonrider, but she remains an Apprentice Healer at the HealerCraft Hall.
Shoved aside as a Weyrbrat, Nyalor has become a loner, and finds more comfort in the company of animals than anything else. She shuns company from humans, and is very resentful of those that use their rank or looks to get the respect of others. And because of this, Nyalor has aquired a variety of pets that have come and gone in her fifteen Turns of life. Felines, Canines, and even the occasional runner have lived a peaceful life with her to look over them. She has two permanent pets, though, a green firelizard from Tarizal that she calls "Wish," and a runnerbeast from Rohlen Hold, "Iray." Surprisingly, the two creatures get along rather well, for no one expected them to.
Nyalor would be considered attractive by almost any standards, but prefers not to be considered so. She has soft, light-brown hair, and greenish eyes. Her face is heart-shaped, and her eyes are large and inquisitive. As far as clothing goes, she enjoys loose tunics and trousers, and wouldn't dress up for anything. If you catch her in a dress, you'd better have a sharding good reason to of seen her in one!
