Flits
NOTE: THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.  IT SHOULD BE ENTIRELY UP WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK, IF I HAVE ENOUGH LUCK.  PLEASE, BEAR WITH ME.  THANK YOU!

You grin as Fhandi settles down on the bed and you sit beside her.  Her face fills with joy as she looks at the blue and brown, and the two flits seem to return the love.  "Well," She says, holding the brown out first for you to look at first.  "This," She says, "Is Chimi.  He was the first one out of the egg at the firelizard clutch, Oceanarnia didn't come up until later."
Fhandi's brown flit Chimi
You could swear that the brown flit winks at you upon this point, but you're not sure.  "He's very playful," Fhandi continues, "Much more so than Oceanarnia.  If you're wondering how I got him, you can always check out my journal.  I got them at Dark Moon Weyr, where we are now.  You could go and get some, if you want to."

You wait, stroking the little brown's head, and she continues.  "Chimi loves to eat rhoast wherry more than anything else in the world, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why.  In fact, it's one of the only things that he will eat, 'cause he's very picky," Fhandi tells you, handing you a piece of rhoast wherry meat to feed Chimi.  He daintily accepts it in one claw, and begins to munch, hissing at Oceanarnia as the blue tries to get some of the meat.  "Chimi, stop, it looks like I haven't trained you!" She commands angrily, and the brown stops.  You smile softly.  "I
have trained them, Harper, but Chimi's a bit greedy.  Oceanarina is still better at taking messages to someone that he hasn't met, but Chimi can beat him anyday in speed to someone that they've already seen."  Fhandi looks at you, concerned.  "Am I boring you?"
Fhandi's blue Flit, Oceanarnia
The blue flit just chirps softly, and it's almost as if he's forgiving you.  "Oh, you are a funny fellow," Fhandi says to the blue, who simply chirps his reply.  "Well, I'm glad that you think so," She added, gently kissing the blue's forehead as he curls up in her lap.  "Like I said," Fhandi continues, "He's good at taking a message to someone that he doesn't know; I use him most of the time for delievering messages.  He'll stick around long enough for someone to reply to my letter."

"So," You say, "You mean that you really have trained him to take a message to someone that he's never seen?"

Grinning at your amazement, Fhandi nods proudly, like a mother showing off when her child Impresses a dragon.  "It took a long, time, but Oceanarnia's just got a knack for it.  He'll eat anything, try this," She says, tossing you a small piece of orangefruit.  Not sure whether to believe her, you tear off a small piece of the fruit and feed it to the blue flit.

However, it does take the fruit from you and chomp down, and your expression makes Fhandi burst out into her tinkling laughter.  "See?" She asks, and you just nod.  Laughing, you turn back to the other things in
the barracks.
No, of course not," You say, for although you are tired, you're not bored.  "Can you tell me about...  The blue one?  What did you call him, Oceanamri?"

Fhandi laughs softly, and you wish that she would more often.  It's almost like a little bell ringing, her laughter is so soft and tinkly.  "Oceanarnia," She corrects you, "Although you're closer than most people when it comes to getting to his name."
