Research interests:
1. Planetary ring system
2. Plasma physics including dusty plasmas and experiemnts
3. Simulations of the accretion disk of black holes
Experiences:

1. worked as a junior scientist at the M. P. Birla Planetarium, Calcutta.
2. Designed and fabricated one capacitively coupled RF discharged plasma laboratory including the data acquisition systems, data logger softwares etc at the Department of Physics, Jadavpur University, Calcutta.
3. Fabricated one micro-processor controlled CCD camera at IUCAA, Pune for plasma research at the dept. of Physics, Jadavpur University.
4. Developed artificial neural network based system to analyse the voltage-current characteristics for RF discharged plasma.
5. Taught advanced physics in the Engineering classes at the Jadavpur University.
6. During first postdoc at the S N Bose National Center for Basic Sciences, Calcutta, developed  three dimensional SPH simulation code for studying accretion disk of the black hole and neutron stars.
7. During the second postdoc at IUCAA, Pune, I was working on the project Virtual Observatory in which my main objective was to analyse huge astronomical database with least time schedule and highest accuracy using IRAF.
