Question 1-Is safety a major problem in chicago?
Answer- I belive it is in various areas

Question 2-Do you feel safe in your current neighborhood?
Answer- Actually I would have to say I feel about 60% safe in my neighborhood

Question 3-Have you ever been attacked or mugged?
Answer - never

Question 4- Do you form an opinion of the people in the community based on the appearance?
Answer- yes I do

Question 5- Do you feel there is enough police involvment in your community?
Answer- No, there isn't

Question 6- Do you feel that the segregation of communities play a part in your view of safety?
Answer-Not exactly,I believe that chicago is very segregated, I don't now if I would feel comfortable in any community that wasn't my nationality because I don't know how they would receive me I would rather be in a more mulitcultural area.

Question 7-Have you ever carried weapons because you felt you may have been in danger?
Answer- Pepper spray

Question 8-Do you have a problem with gangs even if they don't bother you?
Answer- I do, I don't like to see them,I think it's a waste of time and that a lot of young people are loosiing there lives for nothing.

Question 9-Are you always questioned for spare change at gas stations?
Answer-Not always,that's not something that bothers me, if I notice that the person is truly in need I may spare some change but if there just going to use it on drugs then no.

Question 10-Does chicago equal your standard of living?
Answer- It's all I know

Question 11-Do you think the high percent of poverty plays a role in why there are so many beggers in chicago?
Answer- of course, however I feel that our nation is set up so that people will remain in their economic classes.

Question 12-Do you like your current community?a
Answer- I think it's all right for right now, I do plan to move someday.

Question 13- Do you invest in a alarm system, why or why not?
Answer-No, because I live on the second floor of my building and there is a system in place which is the locked door.

Question 14-If you could talk to the mayor for two minutes about your community, what would you say?
Answer- We need more police patrolling the area and maybe a beutification project for the streets and matbe a park for the children.

Question 15-If you could change one thing in your community what would it be?
Answer- More friendly neighbors, more understanding to others differences.

My reflections are that the interview taught me  that some people have two totally different opinions on
