| The
East Valley Gardener's Club is an affiliate of the Gardeners of America
(TGOA)
and the Men's Garden Club of America, Inc. (MGCA)
. We are also associated with the Horticultural Society of America.
The club was organized in 1986 and incorporated in March 1988 under laws
of the State of Arizona as a non-profit organization. |
| The
purpose and objective of the club is to promote interest in gardening and
horticulture; disseminate information to club members and others with like
interests in the East Valley communities; conduct educational programs
through lectures, demonstrations, and exhibits; and to provide advice and
information in solving problems related to home gardening. |
| The
club conducts programs and activities to encourage gardening among youth
groups, support groups, the disadvantaged, and other non-profit organizations,
including the support of local school and other education programs and
facilities. |

| Meetings: |
| The
club meets on the first Thursday of each month (except July and August) at 7:00 P.M. at Mesa Community College, (SE corner of Southern and Dobson), Mesa, Arizona. The meetings are held in the Kiva Room on campus. Visitors are very welcome. |
