Hello everyone.  My name is Annie.. (haha.. as if you couldn't have guessed from the title above)  Anyway.. I'm from Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.  I am currently pursuing my MSc in Environmental Technology in UMIST, Manchester.  I completed my undergraduate studies here too, in Chemical Engineering.   Well, you can say that I 'm not too bored of Manchester yet :)

Anyway.. I have a sister who's studying Medicine in Tasmania.  Yup.. it is rather far away, isn't it?  She's in her third year now, running to and fro the hospital, to be exact.  My mum's a primary school music teacher in Miri and my dad's a businessman. 

For those who do not know, Miri is a small town just barely three hours drive from Brunei Darussalam, where the 2nd richest man in the world, Sultan Hasannah Bolkiah, rules.  It is one of the nine divisions in Sarawak and it's famous for the Mulu Caves, Niah Caves and Lambir Waterfalls.  You should really make a trip there when you can.. I guarantee you will not be disappointed :)
