This page is set up for downloads of the set of Tango icons for OpenOffice.org, produced by jimmac.

jimmac [Jakub] has an extensive and very attractive opus, which  can be found at this location and the associated website. Thanks to Jakub for allowing us to use these icons. They have been designed for use with OpenOffice.org,which makes them usable with NeoOffice and any forks, ports or derivatives of OpenOffice.org 2.0.

To use this very pretty set of icons with NeoOffice 2.0, you need to get Iconic from Brett's Iconic site here   Iconic is a quick and easy-to-use program which replaces (non-destructively) the set of toolbar icons you are using. At the moment, it works with NeoOffice 2.0 only, but Brett is hoping to develop it further in the future (ie after October 2006) to work with OpenOffice.org 2.0, including OpenOffice.org for X11.

To see how it looks in NeoOffice, click on the page 2 marker above.

Note: Jakub's work is in-progress.  Where there is currently not yet a Tango icon, "industrial" icons are used.  These icons are all LGPL, and you are urged to check the enclosed readme licence statement.

To download the icons, click below, then unzip the file, read the readme and go to work with Iconic.  Enjoy!
