Rick: Hey, Budge.

Bridget: Hey, you! What are you doing here?

Rick: Looking for my sister.

Bridget: Aw. I saw you and Amber on Telesave. Come on, tell me about it. How was the fashion show?

Rick: We sold everything.

Bridget: What? Are you kidding me? The whole inventory in one day?

Rick: It was the biggest day in Forrester sales history.

Bridget: Gosh.

Rick: So tonight we're gonna celebrate. Dad is throwing a pool party, and you should come. Everybody's going to be there -- the models, the employees, Amber, Dad, Mom.

Bridget: No. Um -- I can't come. I'm busy.

Rick: Why, because you have to work? Bridget, what are you doing here waiting on tables?

Bridget: I don't know. I don't know. It just kind of feels right for me right now.

Rick: So you're just gonna give up everything at forrester?

Bridget: I'd just rather not go to the party, okay? And look, this is your night. You and Amber, you guys should celebrate. Go have fun.

Rick: Bridget, we all started this line together. We miss you.

Bridget: I know. I'm just leaving that life behind me right now.

Rick: Because of Deacon. I know you left him. And for whatever reason it was, I can really see that it's taking its toll on you, and I'm sorry, okay?

[Bridget doesn't respond]

Rick: So you don't want to tell me what happened?

Bridget: Maybe someday.

Rick: All right. I won't pressure you, but personally, I am very glad that Deacon is out of your life. It's for the best, Bridget. You know, he left Forrester, too. What did he do to you? Did he hurt you?

Bridget: Not physically.

Rick: He cheated on you, didn't he? Oh, that bastard. I wish i could wring his neck.

Bridget: I was such a fool.

Rick: No, no. Bridget, you were not the fool. He was. He does not deserve you. You are the sweetest person that anybody could ever hope to find, and don't you forget that.

Bridget: Thank you. I really need to hear that right now.

Rick: I mean that, okay?

Bridget: Yeah.

Rick: And if you ever need anything, if you need someone to talk to, if you need a place to stay, I'm here for you.

Bridget: I know. Uh-oh. Here comes the boss.

Rick: Ceej.

C.J.: Rick.

Bridget: I know, I know. Get back to work.

C.J.: No, there's no rush. Don't worry about it.

Bridget: What? Oh, you're gonna cut my salary, aren't you? I'm kidding. Okay. Um, you know what? I really should get back to work. I have some customers.

Rick: Okay.

Bridget: Okay? Thank you. I'll see you later.

Rick: Absolutely.

C.J.: So I saw you on Telesave the other day. Real classy, Rick.

Rick: Kind of like your mom selling out to Ridge, huh?

C.J.: Boy, you know, I'd expect a comment like that coming from you. But then again, you Forresters are all the same.

Rick: Look, C.J., I know you don't owe me anything.

C.J.: You got that right.

Rick: But could you please do me a favor, just for old time's sake? Could you keep an eye on Bridget?

C.J.: She can take care of herself, Rick.

Rick: Look, Bridget might need someone to talk to, and she's not as strong as she pretends to be.
