The Deadly Consequences of Attacking Iraq

If Iraq, who is unable to defend itself against the constant aerial attacks
of the Western nations, conquers Jerusalem then the end is imminent.

3. Egypt will influence other Arab nations to support the West, thus the complete annihilation of Egypt after its conquest by Iraq. Turkey and Iran, the enemies of Iraq will also be annihilated.

Recent History of Iraq

"At the appointed time he shall return and go toward the south; but it shall not be like the former or the latter. For ships from Kittim shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and return in rage against the holy covenant, and do damage. " Dan 11:29-30a

Iraq in 1990Ad attacked and annexed Kuwait and this prompted the whole Middle East Arab nations to rise up against Iraq. In 1991AD the Western nations (Kittim) led by USA defeated Iraq by attacking it from the ships anchored off the Gulf of Persia. Kuwait was liberated in this `Gulf War'. Iraq withdrew and called `Jihad' or the holy Islamic war against the Jews and the Christians (holy covenant). The `Coalition forces' comprising the soldiers from the Western and Arabs nations then proceeded on foot to attack Iraq and to capture Saddam Hussien. This war was called the `Operation Desert Storm'. Ever since then Iraq was extremely successful in creating the hatred of Muslims for Christians. Thus Dan 11:29-30a was fulfilled in the `Gulf War'. So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. Dan 11:30b

Iraq will return to fight against the `Coalition forces' (king of the South - represented by the coalition of the Western nations and the Arab nations south of Iraq). This will only happen in `the last days' or `endtime' when the `Coalition forces' attack him as found in Dan 11:40a

So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. Dan 11:30b

However, when Iraq returns to fight against the `Coalition forces', he will have the sympathy and support of the Muslims (those who forsake the holy covenant) world, for he has proven to the Muslims that he was worthy to be called their `hero'. Please go to Champions of the Muslims. The constant bombing of the Iraqi cities by the powerful Coalition forces will see the killing of many Iraqi children and women. The high-tech war fought by the Coalition forces will see the great massacre of the Iraqi forces.

( * ) If Saddam Hussien is one of the seven agents (heads) of then coming Antichrist (beast), then he will likely be the one who will be killed but will come back to life again in the presence of all (via live TV). He will then proclaim himself as a prophet of Allah and many will follow him.

And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. Rev 13:3

Many Muslims from the neighbouring Arab nations will rebel against their government and side Iraq by fighting the Coalition forces. Muslims soldiers fighting alongside the coalition will turn against their own comrades in arms and thus causing great confusion in the `Coalition forces'.

"So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. And forces shall be mustered by him," Dan 11:30b-31a

Iraq will then have the support of Muslims worldwide. They will then become his new armies. Majority will comprise of the whole Middle East armies, who rebelled against their governments. He will then defeat the `Coalition forces' and proceed to possess the whole Middle East Arab nations.

The Attack of Iraq

"At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through." Dan 11:40

In the last days the Coalition forces (king of the South) will attack Iraq (king of the North). This will then be the start of 4th Seal whereby 1/4 of all mankind will be killed. When that happens, all hell will break loose: Muslims worldwide will declare `jihad' against Christians and Christian nations. Weapons of mass destruction will be deployed resulting in the death of millions. However, Iraq will defeat the Coalition forces (though invincible in the eyes of the world) and overrun all these Arab nations like a whirlwind. The Muslim soldiers fighting with the Coalition forces will turn against their own comrades-in-arm. This will cause chaos within the camps of the Coalition forces and Iraq will just walk over them, just as in the days of Gideon {Judges 7:22-23} and Elisha {2Kings 6-7}.

When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the LORD set every man's sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath. And the men of Israel gathered together from Naphtali, Asher, and all Manasseh, and pursued the Midianites. Judg 7:22-23

The rebels with turn their nations to Iraq, and Iraq will therefore controls the whole middle East. This will be the emergence of the greatest power on earth - the `New Babylonian Empire' led by the head of Iraq as the Emperor. The following nations will be part of the `New Babylonian Empire' with Jerusalem its capital:

Mystery of the `New Babylonian Empire'

"There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast." Rev 17:10-13

The known world then (Middle East), had the followings `empires' until the days of John at Patmos around 100 AD: -

...There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue for a short time. Rev 17:10

The `seventh empire' will be in the future. Once again before Rapture, the whole Middle East including Israel and Jerusalem will be conquered and come under the rule of Iraq. This will be the beginning of the `New Babylonian Empire' ruled by the Antichrist. He will set up his capital in Jerusalem. However, the rule of the Antichrist will only be for a short period of a few years only. Then he will be killed by the coming of our Lord at Rapture, but the devil will incarnate using his dead body to become the `Beast'.

Persecution of Christian worldwide

"But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake." Luke 21:12

The following events must precede the period of the Beginning of Sorrows (all these things). Muslims worldwide will rise up in retaliation of the attack of Iraq by the West (commonly associated as Christian nations). Christians especially in the Middle east and some Muslim countries will be persecuted, arrested and put in prison to appear before courts and judges. During this time, nations having problems with the Muslims minority (e.g. India, China, USA, etc.) will also suffer from terrorism and many will be killed by the use of the weapons of mass destruction.

"But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist." Luke 21:13-15

God wants persecuted Christians to use these occasions to preach His gospel to all His adversaries (Communists and Muslims for they were forbidden by their religion and governments to hear the Gospel) to give them the chance of salvation just as in the book of Acts. (e.g. Acts 4; 5:17-42; Acts 6:8-7:56). God Himself will be with us and He will speak through us if only we have the faith and not fear.

"You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death." Luke 21:16

Because of the great persecution going on in these countries, many unbelieving (including nominal Christians) parents and relatives (for the safety of the rest of the family) will betray godly Christians to the authorities. Nominal Christians will be swept away by the deception of the Antichrist. To the committed and godly Christians this will be the time of purification.

All mankind will hate Christians and blame them for the wars and terrorisms which resulted in much sufferings. By then mankind worldwide will be so frightened of the horrific religious wars and terrorism using weapons of mass destruction resulting in the killing by the millions that they hope for peace and security.

"But not a hair of your head shall be lost. By your patience possess your souls. Luke 21:18-19

However, before any Christian is martyred, he will not suffer any pain at all. I believe that before any Christian appears before the court or persecuted, the Lord will take his spirit to heaven and the Holy Spirit will take over his body. As long as his spirit is in his physical body, not a hair will fall from his head. All the pains of torture or death will be borne by our Lord Jesus Himself (just as in Acts 7).

"Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom." Matt 16:28

The Conquest of Jerusalem and the Middle East

After the conquest of the Arab world, Iraq will mustered all the forces and attack Israel and Jerusalem.

"And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; ... Dan 11:30

"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." Luke 21:20-24

He shall come into the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, Dan 11:41a (RSV)

He will then enter Israel and conquer Jerusalem (sanctuary fortress). Our Lord warned the Jews to flee Jerusalem for it is the vengeance of the Lord for their Unbelief in signing the PLO-Israel peace Accord in 1993AD. {For further details please go to the `PLO-Israel Peace Accord' }. The conquest of Jerusalem will be horrific that even pregnant women and babies will be killed. Our Lord warned the Jews to flee Jerusalem so that they may be saved in later days. Having conquered Jerusalem, he will make it his capital. All Muslim will then herald him as a `servant of God' for capturing Jerusalem for Allah.

but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the main part of the Ammonites. Dan 11:41b (RSV)

However, Iraq will not harm Jordan (the present day Jordan covers the land of Edom, Maob, and most of Ammon) for Jordan condemned the attack of the West. Jordan will rise up at the late part of the war to fight alongside Iraq against the Coalition forces.

"He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels." Dan 11:42-43

Subsequently Iraq will then conquer and destroy Egypt for being a strong ally of the West. The Libyans and Ethiopians will be the earliest of the nations outside the middle East to submit to Iraq.

"But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many." Dan 11:44

Then, both Iran (East of Iraq and a long time adversary) and Turkey (a potential member of EU and the most secular Islamic nation) will attack Iraq but they too will be soundly defeated and in turn annihilated. They will become part of the `New Babylonian Empire'.

The Deception of the Antichrist

And he shall plant the tabernacles (temple of God) of his palace (residence of the king) between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Dan 11:45 (KJV)

Having conquered Israel and Jerusalem against all odds, Muslims worldwide will acknowledge the head of Iraq as the 'servant of God' for capturing Jerusalem for Allah. This will be the start of the Period of the Beginning of Sorrows. He (Antichrist) will then remove the mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and in its place propose to build the Temple of God (tabernacle) for the worship of the God of Abraham. This will be welcomed by all and hence unite the 3 religious communities; namely the Christians, Jews and Muslims and bring about peace and security to the Middle East. With these the people will proclaim him as the saviour of the people in Palestine (Israel, Gaza Strip and West Bank) the title of prince of peace for the whole Middle East.

The Antichrist will rule the middle East for a few years and during this time many nations will turn to him for peace and security due to the great unrest and terrorism among them. This will be the Period of Sorrows. After the completion of the Temple of God, the Antichrist will then sit in the Temple proclaiming himself god. This will then be the start of the Period of the Great Tribulation. Immediately after the Great Tribulation (possible a few weeks), the Antichrist will be killed by the appearing of our Lord Jesus at Rapture and not even the Devil himself, will be able to save him.

Immediately after Rapture, the Devil will be cast down to earth (Rev 12:7-12 and he will used the dead body of the Antichrist for his incarnation to be the fearful and deadly `Beast' of Rev 13:1-8.
