  • Graphics Specialist (September 1998-Present), Houston Chronicle, Houston, Texas. Design page layout for special sections, including HealthCare Professional Update and 50+; create original graphics; scan and edit photos; and manage cd-rom archiving system of special sections for the Advertising Publications department.

  • Online Graphics (September 1996-September 1998), The Advocate Online, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Prepared pictures and graphics, represented the New Media department at news meetings, coded pages, and assisted in editing The Advocate's web page.

  • HTML Coder (April-September 1996), The Advocate Online, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Prepared text and pictures for the online edition of Baton Rouge's daily newspaper.

  • Copy Editor (August 1995-May 1996), Gumbo, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Proofread and edited all copy for LSU's yearbook and wrote several stories.

  • Staff Writer (May-August 1995), Baker Observer, Baker, Louisiana. Wrote news and feature articles, copy edited, covered city council news, took pictures and assisted in layout for Baker's weekly newspaper.
