| Beef and Pork. We have visited my grandparents every winter, just around Christmas time, and we had a big feast on the farm. My family cooked pork in any ways. Beef ... well, it always turned out to be hard or chewy.... I didn't like beef when I was a child. Maybe because my mother didn't know how to cook beef right. (Sorry Mom!) Beef wasn't on my menu until I met my exhusband's family. Over the years I've learned that beef can be just as tender as chicken, if it is cooked right. |
