Spanish

The Spanish under discussion is here is the Latin American variety, not the "correct" Castilian variety. It irks me when I hear Mexicans refer to their own language as "not as good", or "correct" as that from Spain.

Just so you know: I am a Gringo and so is my wife. But we both learned Spanish because we lived in three states that border Mexico and have travelled extensively to that country.
