Hello and Welcome to my Home Page! My name is Kimberly, and I live in Arkansas. I am 40, and I have two great kid-o's! I have a daughter 20 and my son is 17. Well, lets see here there are so many things I enjoy doing!! I am family oriented, I love shopping, fishing, horseback riding, rodeos, chatting with new people, dancing, surfing the net, working on projects around the house and I love getting a little crazy riding 4 wheelers! I also love going to the races and watching my boyfriend and his son race their sprint cars. That is totally awesome! However, the one thing I enjoy most in life is lending a helping hand and helping others.
I have spent the last several years at home taking care of my daughter. She has Hydrocephalus. I have had several people write to me asking me questions about her illness. I have created a website that explains her illness as well as the struggles she has faced since being diagnosed. Please see the link listed below in the link section that says "My daughters fight with Hydrocephalus". She moved out in February 2008 to start on her own family. It's been a real adjustment for me, but I am thankful that she is able to move on and start living her own life and being productive. After going through a really hard time during the third trimester of her pregnancy due to her hydrocephalus, she made me a proud Grandma on January 23, 2008. I am so thankful that God gave me the opportunity to be Destini's grandmother. What a blessing she has been!!
I also have a brother that I take care of also. He was a pedestrian ran over in a crosswalk back in 1994, and I have taken care of him the past 14 years. He doesn't live with me, but I have the responsibility of taking care of his financial affairs, getting him to the doctors, and making sure he has everything he needs. Between my daughter and him, they have kept me very busy over the last few years.
I started my new life with my boyfriend and things have been going well. My son started a new summer job, so I don't see him very much anymore. When he is not working, he is out with his buddies. So, I usually only see him around breakfast time and dinner time. lol It's been a real change for me not having someone so dependent on me. Not in a bad way though, just finding things to occupy my time!
