The Bearcat Class fighter is one of the oldest fighter classes in service in the Cardin's rim subsector.The class itself has gone through several equipment upgrades to its current technological level and some of the earlier models still serve today. Its familair wedge design are wellknown to many a naval pilot. It is often the first fighter most pilots train because of its simple and forgiving nature. In combat it has proven to be rather tough for its diminutive size. its structure is extremely tough and has even tested beyond labaratory tests of 7G's although it cannot exceed 5 g's. The bearcat is a cheap dependable fighter for most straght forward missions.
