There will be a conference during the period of May 16, 2001 to May
20, 2001 in Antalya, a city on the
Mediterranean coast of Turkey, on the subject of algebra and its applications.
This is the third conference of a sequence of annual conferences organized
in Antalya on the same subject.
The aim of these conferences is to increase interactions between Turkish
mathematicians working in various
fields of Algebra, and in particular to create relations between Turkish
Mathematicians and mathematicians
from other countries.
Although the subject of the conference is kept broad, traditionally
some areas have been represented more
than others. These are the areas in which some research groups in Turkish
Universities work actively.

This year's meeting will be held in Bilkent
Hotel Kemer in Antalya (for more information about the hotel please
visit hotel's web page.) The hotel offers a special package for the
participants of the conference for 300 DM
per person in a double room. The package includes 5 nights of accommodation
and meals (arrival on Tuesday
May 15th, and departure on Sunday May 20th after lunch.)
