| Version: Japanese Seen At: Games People Play Rating: PG-13 Review: Three and a Half Stars One-Two Punch combines the first two movies into one video, which is pretty cool, because you still pay the price for one. Though, I don't recommend buying this video at all unless you're a big Fatal Fury or lots of action fan. I bought this video because I had seen the one after it awhile back in English and it was really good, so I bought this one in Japanese. I was gravely dissapointed. Parts of the story were so lame and predictable that you could walk out of the room to get a snack, come back, and still know exactly what's going on. (Well, I did do that, to tell you the truth!) The animation, though, was really good and my favorite character, Mai, was in the second part, so that was great. I didn't like the way Terry always won the fight, but, whatever. The Japanese people say the names of the people awfully wierd, too. Andy Bogard sounds like Undy Bugar, but who am I to dudge? Overall, it wasn't all that bad, and the Japanese songs were great, but what I didn't get is how Andy's hair changed from silver in the first part, to blonde in the second part. I don't get it! |
