| Version: Japanese / Dubbed Seen At: Suncoast Rating: PG-13 Review: Four and a Half Stars Sailor Moon R answers a few questions concerning Mamoru / Darien's childhood. If you see the Japanese version, you'll get a better understanding of what exactly happened during his parents death. Sailor Moon's animation has always been quite good, this one is no exception. During one part of the film, there is some computer graphics. This is the part where they first see Fiore and the Kisean's Flower (Blossom if you see the English) lair. The Japanese voices were spectacular. If you don't know much about Sailor Moon and it's past, then you don't know about the history of bad dubbing. Thankfully, though, the English version used the voices from the original DiC version and not the new Cloverway voices. Sad to say, though, the English version didn't keep the original Japanese music in, so it kind of killed it all together. If you see this video and want to buy it, make sure it is not in the case where you see Princess Serenity (Serena) but has the inners (Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus) on the cover. The first one is the English version, and it is best just to stay away from that. |
