| Version: Dubbed Seen At: Blockbuster Video Rating: R Review: Five Stars Kite focuses on a girl named Sawa who is about eighteen to twenty years old. She was trained, as a child, to become a secret murderer to kill the criminals (they're all child molestars) that were let out jail or never went to jail for their crimes. The animation is what drove me to this anime, the cover being so pretty and everything. I wasn't expecting, though, what I'd find inside! It was a masterpiece anime. Even though Sawa is the only "pretty" character, it was still good. The voices are great and I'm sure that the Japanese voices are even better. Though, it seems that there was a lot cut out of the English version for obvious reasons; it is not allowed to be dubbed! There are child and adult sex scenes in it that are not suitable for anyone. That version is rated NC-17, but you couldn't guess that? I'm still searching for that version to see if it is any good, I heard that it is. I've checked rental places, but I haven't checked Suncoast, so that will be my next place to check. Though, if you find it Dubbed or Japanese, it is still worth a look. |
