| Tenchi the Movie 2: Daughter of Darkness |
| Version: Dubbed Seen At: Suncoast Rating: PG-13 Review: Four and a Half Stars Daughter of Darkness, originally titles Mautsu No Eve, has a lot more comedy then the other two Tenchi movies. It also, though, is the shortest video of all three of them and the story has been already told. The daughter / son comes to the past from the future has also been done by, there are probably more, Sailor Moon (with Chibi-Usa / Rini) and Dragon Ball Z (with Trunks). The animation was great on the other hand, though, and it was the best in that category. The voices, for they are the same, are great, even though Mayuka's voice did bother me some. Mayuka's voice is also the same as a Sakuya from Shin-Tenchi Muyo! (Tenchi in Tokyo) and it's from a Brady Bunch commercial. (?) Over all, this video is a winner, and, even if you're not a Tenchi fanatic, like I am, this is still a good video to take a look at. |
