| I let the tears flow down, Down across my cheeks. You told me you're the one, The one God now seeks. He'll be taking you away from me, But not the memories we've shared. You've become a dear friend. To you, my heart and soul I beared. You made me smile, You made me laugh. You made me so happy, And helped me get over my past. I loved talking to you, And even after you're gone I will. I may not hear your voice, But I know you're with me still. I wish I could be there, During the last breath you take. I wish I could hold the real you, While it's my heart that will break. However, I will be with you, I'll be right by your side. I will hold you in my arms, All within a spiritual bind. You will always be on my mind, And stay within my heart. When I'm finally gone as well, We will never be apart. I will find you up there, Past those big pearly gates, To give you a huge hug, Is the day my heart awaits. You'll soon be off, To a far away place.
