This world just takes its shots at me
They don't know I got you with me
Don't need no drugs to set me free
I prefer to save my liberty
the world just lost a girl like me
far away from all that I would see
don't know what lies there for me
never in a million years
could i wipe away all my tears
I could run but I could not hide
And here's the reason why: I still see me.
So you see I've always hated me
But I see no cloud to cover me
Do you see I've found the fire in me
Now I've got the nerve to carry me
I see ice and I see pain
Then I try all over again
Strange there's no reason why
But I will never die
