About Us

Mission Statement:
The goal of CPIC is to educate people about cerebral palsy, to provide a central place on the Internet for people to find information about cerebral palsy, and provide support to those who have cerebral palsy and their families and healthcare providers.

Cerebral Palsy Info Central (CPIC) was started in 1995 by Anee Stanford, after she saw a lack of awareness of problems faced by adults with cerebral palsy on the part of many healthcare professionals as well as established disability associations. There also appered to be a need for a centralized clearing house of information related to cerebral plasy because of the broad range of disabilities that cerebral palsy can encompass.

Cerebral Palsy Info Central welcomes questions about cerebral palsy. Much of the content of CPIC is developed as a result of suggestions and questions we recive from visitors to the website. We thank all of our visitors for their continuing imput, and look forward to continuing to serve you.
